Introduction

Zambia has more than 200 waterfalls, many of these unknown and unmapped. The chibulubulus, a group of friends consisting of one artist, one photographer, one writer and one organizer, started some years ago to fill in the blanks on the Zambian map. The abundance of waterfalls in Zambia is due to its geological formation, 3 plateaux of successive height, from which the waters drop as large or small waterfalls. Zambia is bisected by a watershed: the northern rivers flow into the Luapula and ultimately the Congo R., the southern rivers into the Zambezi.
